Warmest thanks for the $400,000 grant to UJA-Federation's "Standing With Israel: The Israel Emergency Fund Campaign" for the Jerusalem Crisis Center. This support is deeply appreciated by all whose lives this grant will touch.
As you know, the need for humanitarian assistance in Israel has increased every day as more and more families are bereaved or otherwise harmed by terrorist attacks. The thoughtful philanthropy of the Trustees of the Jewish Communal Fund will help provide more of the grief and trauma counseling; direct assistance to families; and training of teachers, medical personnel, and others, that sadly, are needed to help Israelis cope with the terrible events and wrenching uncertainty that shadow their lives.
