When comparing donor-advised funds, be sure to ask:
· How wide is the choice of investment options?
· What has been the performance of these investments?
· What is the net rate of return after fees?
· Are the portfolios indexed or managed?
· Can you have the investment manager of your choice manage the assets in your fund?
