When comparing donor-advised funds, be sure to ask:
· Can I contribute closely-held securities, real estate, life insurance, interests in limited partnerships and limited liability companies?
· What is the minimum amount required to establish a fund?
· Is there a minimum amount for subsequent contributions?
· Can anyone contribute to my fund?
· Can contributions be made by credit card?
