Tallulah
Tallulah, a 9-year old living in New York City, wanted to give back to the hospital in Texas from where she was adopted. With her father’s assistance, she contacted the hospital and found a way to have a big impact on the families in that community. Here is an excerpt from the letter thanking Tallulah for recommending a grant from her Children’s Giving Fund to the Birth Center in Galveston, TX:
“…Tallulah’s gift provided over 100 baby blankets and, thus, sent the babies home wrapped in warmth and their parents feeling special...The Hispanic parents very much appreciate that the gift tag is in Spanish and English…
“…When we tell the parents that a young woman has embraced the spirit of fellowship and helping others, they are all impressed with her creativity and maturity…We wish Tallulah to know that her gift has inspired other parents and their children to begin thinking about personal philanthropy at a young age.”
