JCF Donors Enjoy Benefits of New Partnership with the Jewish Funders Network

We are pleased to announce a new partnership between the Jewish Communal Fund and the Jewish Funders Network (JFN). JCF fund holders who are not currently members of the Jewish Funders Network are eligible for a one year introductory membership in JFN for a reduced rate of $500*. This fee can be deducted from your JCF account.

The Jewish Funders Network is an international organization of family foundations, public philanthropies and individuals dedicated to advancing the quality and growth of philanthropy rooted in Jewish values. JFN provides members with access to like-minded philanthropists, enabling them to enhance their giving and form powerful collaborations. JFN membership can help you:

Access expert professional staff who offer one-on-one guidance to make your grantmaking even more effective.
Expand and enhance your network with JFN Connect, a new website where you can connect to other members who share your interests.
Maximize your giving through the Matching Gifts Initiative. JFN Matching Gifts Program encourages members to expand their giving into new areas with matching gifts for first-time donations in designated fields such as Jewish Day School education, Jewish elderly poor, Israeli non-profits and Jewish camping.
Increase your knowledge of philanthropy here and in Israel. Meet Jewish philanthropists from around the world at JFN’s first International Conference to be held in Israel on March 31 – April 3, 2008.
Stimulate new giving through partnerships created with other JFN members.
Develop the next generation of philanthropists through the Jewish youth philanthropy program, the Jewish Teen Funders Network.
Engage strategic planning and consultation services for foundations (minimum annual donations of $500,000) to maximize their impact and efficiency, as well as providing legacy planning to ensure that your foundation and philanthropic mission continues in perpetuity. (There is a fee for this service.)

JFN membership is open to donors who disperse a minimum of $25,000 annually in charitable dollars.
